FAQ
Common questions.
Does my project need to be new?
Yes — projects must be original work started after June 7, 2026.
What counts as Patchr SDK usage?
Your project must import and use @patchr-core/sdk (Node.js) or patchr-python-sdk (Python). The validator checks for actual usage, not just installation.
Can I resubmit if my build fails?
Yes — up to 3 total submission attempts per project. Resubmissions are only allowed after a failed validation. You cannot resubmit a passing submission.
What should I post on Reddit?
A screenshot or demo GIF of your project in action, with a short description. Any public subreddit works (e.g. r/programming, r/MachineLearning, r/sideprojects).
Who can participate?
Anyone — students, professionals, hobbyists. No geographic restrictions.
How are winners paid?
Prize details will be communicated to winners by email. Patchr will coordinate payment within 14 days of announcement.
